Sunday 7 December: Crafers Institute Hall, Crafers
Call backs (if required): Wednesday 10 December
Auditions are by appointment only
Auditions will be in 80 minute sessions. You will be required to book into a single session.
All auditionees must be at least 18 years old by the first rehearsal.
Ages listed are as a guide of stage age only.
Auditionees will be asked to participate in a group choreography call, read a short section of set dialogue and sing set vocal extracts.
The production team is looking for a diverse cast to fill all roles.
Please review the information following to ensure you give yourself the best possible chance of a successful audition.
For dialogue and songs, the show is set in 1400s Burgundy (South France), however we suggest a slightly english accent for auditions. We prefer clarity and articulation over specific accents for this production.
Please prepare the relevant music extracts, downloadable via the HMC website. During your audition the musical director and director may workshop these extracts with you. Please be aware that you may only get to present certain sections of the extracts. The musical director may also run some harmony exercises with you during your audition.
You will not be required to prepare your own music piece. An accompanist will be provided on the day. Backing tracks will not be accepted.
